Crystal and I were having fun today....

So, this last weekend, for President's Day weekend, Kevin and I got to fly to Denver to see my brother and his family: Josh, Kristin, Bodhe and Beckett. We had so much fun just hanging out, eating Kristin's amazing food, playing with the boys, watching movies, and dominating on the wii playing tennis. Thanks Josh and Kris!

The black and white....

So, my three halls put on a black and white night: we had black and white pictures, games, and a full chocolate bar with a chocolate fountain. It was fun....but only about 30 people showed up. It was okay, but kinda disappointing for the work and stuff we did. There were lots of dances to compete with tonight, so it was okay. Kevin and I got our picture taken, and he looks good considering he's been sick all week! We're cute.

How Much Kevin Loves Me....haha

Kevin came up with many, many metaphors of how much he loves me today....

1. (his favorite) I love you more than Luke Skywalker loves his lightsaber (and his sister!)
2. I love you more than boy movies ( and definitely a lot more than girl movies).
3. I love you more than Mike Tyson loves Evander Holyfield's ear.
4. I even love you when I throw a football at you and you punch me like 47 times in the arm for it.
5. I love you more than Lieutenant Spock loves the Starship Enterprise.
6. I love you more than fingernail clippers when my fingernails are long.
7. I love you more than Halo 3 when I'm bored...(and that's saying something!)
8. I love you more than band aids when I'm bleeding..(which wounds may have been caused by the arm punching.)
9. I love you more than Pete on the Buttercream Gang loves being a hard core gangster from the streets yo!
10. I love you more than the Jetsons' soundtrack loves making terrible music.
11. I love you more than socks when my feet are cold.
12. I love you more than Lincoln loves whole milk. (my nephew)
13. I love you more than Booker loves animals. ( another of my nephews)
14. I love you more than Spaghetti Factory lasagna with garlic bread that's so yummy.
15. I love you more than water when I'm thirsty.
16. I love you more than the beautiful stars that shine so brightly like your smile!
17. I love you more than your mom...seriously I've crunched the numbers and math-wise I have a strong case. ( yeah right, kev.)
18. I love you more than Lorelai Gilmore loves her coffee.
19. I love you more than a 2008 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. ( oh good!)

There were a few more, but they wouldn't make sense to anyone else, but it was very sweet of Kevin to put these up all over the house while I was interviewing RAs today.

my first entry.....yee haw!

well, i finally gave in....i am now officially a blogger. Since I know that people hate reading all lower cap letters, I'll be nice. Since I am naming this blog after us, the Griffins, fitting name, I know, I thought I should put a picture of our wedding. We're cute, we know. So, it's already been almost 8 months. I'm going to have to be creative now, since we have Kiki in the family with her amazing blog, so people aren't bored when they read about us. WE ARE NOT BORING...YEE HAW! jk. More to come...
