Emily and Kevin’s Mother Day Book
One day, Emily and Kevin were wondering what they should do for Mother’s Day, because they both have marvelously most triumphant mothers. Then Kevin was like, “I totally love my mom more than you love your mom.”
And then Emily was like, “Nuh-uh, I love my mom more.”
And then Kevin was like, “Whatever!”
And then Emily was like, “Prove it,” in a deep manly voice.
So they scattered their separate ways in search of props to show their love and devotion towards their mamas. Kevin grabbed a frozen pizza and said, “I love my mom more than I love frozen pizza.”
“Oh yeah? Well, I love my mom more than I love the chocolate in your candy closet,” said Emily as she opened the closet doors.
Kevin was dumbfounded, but soon found his rebuttal and said, “well, I love my mom more than I love Halo 3.”….and that’s saying something….

Emily was astonished at the amount of love Kevin expressed for his mother. Soon she found something to compete with Kevin’s comment, “well, I love my mom more than my sappy romance novels….beat that!”

Kevin thought long and hard about what could possibly top that amount of adoration. “ well, I love my mom more than I love basketball.”

“Holy cow,” thought Emily. That’s a bit ridiculous, she thought to herself. “well, I love my mom more than I love volleyball.”

“Bueno, I love my mom more than Ecuador,” said Kevin in a macho Mexican accent.
“Well, I simply love my mama more than Virginia,” said Emily in her best southern Belle accent.
It was obvious that neither one of these offspring could prove how much they loved their mamas with mere words…a competition was in order. The desired arena was arm wrestling…as chosen by Emily. They took their places at the table, each child’s face bristling with determination to win the joust, like the knights of old.

The battle commenced…. “Rahhhhhrrrrr!!!!” was Kevin’s cry as he took an early lead with his quickness and strength.

Emily in desperation for victory screamed at her gullible husband, “Kevin, what’s that behind you? A frozen pizza?”

“Where?” said Kevin, as he turned in anticipatory excitement, instantly forgetting the task at hand.

Emily saw her window of opportunity and took it, shouting, “Bam! Boom shak-a-laka!”
“Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!” Kevin blubbered in despair, realizing his defeat. “You cheated, you cheated. It was rigged!”
“Yeah, so?” Emily replied as she gloated with pride.
After hours of argument, it was ruled that due to the infraction of arm wrestling mother-love match guidelines, that a tie was to be declared, while in their minds knowing that they truly loved their mamas more than the other.
So basically, what we are trying to say is… “WE LOVE YOU, MOM!!! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!”
