halloween party

We had a fun Halloween party that was simple and short, but we still had fun!

The Taylors: Quinn won the most comical costume award and got some cool, very bright, erasers. They were the Flintstones.

The Reynolds': Rachael won the wildest costume award and got zebra cakes. They were James Bond and a Bond chick....that's what we all decided, anyways.

The Hansens: Oliver won the most elaborate costume award, and he won an elaborate dish towel...some of the gifts were a stretch. They were tourists of Hawaii and lots of other places.
I forgot to take a picture of Chris and Mary...sorry guys! They were dressed as matching RA's, and they got the most adorable costume awards. They got coloring books.

I was Ladee Klorocks and I had Babee Bleech on my stomach. I won the most disturbing costume award. Kevin and I were supposed to be 80's people.

Kevin was DJ Cool Wip, and was proud of his outfit, especially his miami vice hat for $1 and his old nike airs that he found at DI.

The Harrops: They were at a slumber party for their costumes, and they left before we gave prizes.

The Garretts: Jessica won the American Idol award, for her performance in Blind Karaoke, and Reg won the best Solo award for singing "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Raindeer" in Blind Karaoke too.

The Elkingtons: Mark was 3-hole punch Mark, from the Office; and Jacque was the "black hole in the dryer that eats socks mysteriously". She won the most resourceful costume and got saran wrap, because she was resourceful and didn't spend any money on her costume.

Kevin and I got the best duet award for singing a Tim mcgraw/faith hill song, very loudly, in blind karaoke.

here's a video of it....another one is coming. this got cut off.

thanks for coming everyone!

baby shower

I helped my friend, Jacque, with some things for a baby shower for another friend, Shauna. i made cute little baby cupcakes that were about 1 inch across and super cute. she's having a boy so she had light blue frosting on them.

i also made Shauna's baby a cute green monkey blanket. Kevin's holding it up so you can see it. it was my first time making a blanket like this, and i think it turned out pretty cute.

the fabric...(above). this was Shauna's chair before everyone came so that she would know which one was hers. it was a fun shower and Jacque did a great job planning it.

Welcome Baby Miller!
