Our BYU baby

Since Channing couldn't come to graduation, i wanted to get pictures of him in his BYU outfit. This was the first outfit i ever bought him, and he will be our only little BYU baby...hopefully...:) I'm going to get one of me in my graduation cap and gown eventually and him in this outfit, but i didn't want the background to be an ugly wall. So, here he is...our BYU baby! it should raise some questions in the University of Utah hospital he's in...:)

See...even his little wraps are blue...he's a true Cougar.

His matching blue socks go well with the ensemble.

And of course...no Channing picture would be complete with out the pacifier...he loves that thing!

Hanging out with mom.

Getting sleepy.

Snoozing.

hanging out with dad.

meeting Auntie megan for the first time...she approves...:)

blame the sideways-ness on Kev's camera skills.

Channing is doing well. He started eating yesterday, and has moved up from 5 ml to 8 ml, and is doing well. He likes the formula he is getting for now, and it's easier on his tummy which is why he's getting straight formula for right now. we are hoping for him to just keep eating and gaining weight, and hope he doesn't get any more infections so he can come home! he is doing great though, and now weighs about 7 lbs. 8 oz, which is the most he's ever weighed and has grown an inch, so is now 21 inches long. We love him and are so glad we get to be his parents!

My family loves me!

I finally graduated...yay! most of my family got to come down to see it and it was so much fun! i got great, very thoughtful and fun gifts from my family for me and for Channing. Thanks so much for coming and for your generosity...we appreciate it so much. we had a lot of fun together!

Kevin and I.
Aren't my flowers beautiful? My sister flew them in from hawaii, and they smelled so good!

the two-toned one felt like a snake, it looked way cool, but it kind of creeped me out when i touched it...:).

This is before graduation so we didn't have everyone in the picture.

Okay, so my sister graduated last year from BYU-Hawaii, and i sent her some lei's from Utah for her graduation. she got a lot from friends over there too, but she didn't look like i do here. She went crazy and made me the coolest leis with my favorite candy...not good...i've eaten about 5 candy bars a day now since i've graduated. she also made me money lei's and i loved them all. Thanks Meg! My big sister is so cool!

Me and my dad.

I was about to go up on the stage here to get my diploma holder.

My parents and megan and i.

Me getting my "diploma".

Here is a video of megan putting my candy lei's on me...it's pretty ridiculous and amazing!!

thanks everyone for coming to my graduation and making it a great weekend! love you!

Channing meets the family...

Channing got to meet some of his cousins and aunts and uncles this weekend, while they were here for my graduation. He loved it!

Abby, Grace and Lana hanging out with Channing...those little girls are great babysitters!
He was very content for his aunt Lana.

Josh and Kristin holding Channing...can't believe they're going to have another baby in about a month! we are very excited! We can't wait until Bodhe and Beckett are feeling better so they can see baby Channing.

Channing and Lana.

I love it when he's awake, it's so much fun to see his personality, and to get a famous Channing finger-squeeze.

Me and Channing and the girls.

Channing and his grandma. He had so much fun with his grandma, grandpa, and auntie megan too this weekend. More pictures to come!

finally finished...almost!

I finally graduated college, after a few years...:) I took my time finishing my last two years of college, but it's okay. i'm almost done with my independent study class, i got an extension since Channing came during my deadline. This is the first day of graduation, with all the graduates.

I sat with the engineering students, partly because i was late and didn't really want to sit with my major, and second, because i found my friend, Diane and her husband, Jonathan and their baby. it was a lot of fun to sit by people i knew, and their baby is so cute!

My parents and kev and I. It was perfect weather for graduation, about 65 degrees. i didn't think i would enjoy going to graduation, but i actually did.

I have more pictures from the second day of graduation, but these will do for now. I had a lot of my family come in for my graduation, and it was so nice of them, and we had a lot of birthdays and a lot of fun. thanks for coming guys!

YAY, FOR THE GRADUATES!

Megan Marie

Happy birthday to Megan Marie...today! I love this girl. She's the craziest, funnest, cutest, most gracious, tough girl I've ever met. Kiki, Josh, Toby and I are so lucky to have her as our sister! Since she and I are the youngest, we bonded quite often over the years. ever since we both discovered our love for large amounts of candy, she and I have been connected at the hip...:) This is one of my favorite memories with Meg: She and I just decided to randomly leave our house in Seattle, around 1pm or 2pm, and drive to our favorite beach in Southern Washington where our Grandma used to live. It's about 2 1/2 or 3 hours away, and we just decided one afternoon that we were going to go. These are the pictures by our favorite lighthouse and boardwalk. After spending time in Hawaii, all of her pictures...and mine too, have a hang-loose sign.

She has an unusual love for fake tatoos, all things pink, and going random places like Taiwan.
This was a while ago, right after Kevin and I got married, we went to my other grandparents' house, and they have a great beach too.

Meg and her nasty jellyfish.

At my wedding..love this picture!

Meg kind of surprised all of us about how tan she could possibly get after being in Hawaii.

This is the latest picture i have with meg, in February we went to visit my nieces in our town in Nevada where we all grew up.

Meg is such a fun person, and I can't wait to hang out with her this week! We are totally excited to live by each other in Seattle and continue the cool randomness that we seem to attract while hanging out.

Happy Birthday, Meg! We love you!

doing well

We're doing great: Channing is doing well and is recovering nicely from his infection. They're hoping to start feeding him on Sunday or Monday. He's been on a bit of oxygen now and then for his apnea, but is currently off it, and doing great. They gave him a bit of blood yesterday to help with his anemia that resulted from them doing blood tests every morning to make sure his blood levels are doing well. So, that's all fixed now and he's just being a trooper! We're excited for family to come see him and get to hold him soon!

channing's due date

So...it's Channing's due date...finally! i'm so glad i don't have to do that today...:) we're so glad he's here and doing well. his infection is getting smaller and they are happy with how he's doing. it'll be at least next Friday before he eats again, but he's doing well. He's a snoozer all day, so he's doing great!

My cute boys!

Here's a cute video of him attacking his pacifier, he's such a cutie! He was more aggressive earlier, but we were having a hard time getting him to perform on demand. He did well though!
