he got a much needed haircut about 2 weeks ago, and made him look much older, and more military-like. we've been working on his pushups too....jk.
channing continues to amaze us all how much he likes to eat, and what he'll eat....EVERYTHING! the only thing lately he's spit out is black cherry jello, and i can't say that i blame him. that is nasty.
he eats his broccoli, steak, chicken, peas, carrots, potatoes, anything with maple syrup on it, welcomes all breakfast foods: oatmeal, eggs, bananas, pancakes, waffles, crepes, etc. he ate some pancakes this morning because apparently he didn't get enough with his half a cup of applesauce and 9 oz. of formula. so he was so happy when he got about half a pancake dripping in maple syrup and butter. he got so hyper afterwards....sugar.....
he loves to drink out of a cup, and won't use a sippy cup, so it's either out of your cup so he can clink his teeth against the glass, or he uses a straw, which is really quite cute and surprisingly clean. cran-raspberry is a current favorite for after meals.
he also eats corned beef and cabbage, which i think is great, i love it! but most 11 month olds don't quite have the palate that channing has developed. he doesn't care if cupcakes or cookies or desserts are nasty, or store-bought, or home-made, he's always open for a bite of whatever. i know that it sounds like all he eats is fattening foods, but not really, just a few bites....:) but hey, his doctors say he can have sugar or whatever, so i think he's okay. also, i know what he's going to get from his auntie and uncles and grandparents, so i'm not too concerned. he's just an overall super eater, and his tummy is proof...:)
happy after eating chocolate ice cream....
showing off the belly in his cute, tight pj's

Christmas day, we spent the morning and afternoon at Kev's mom's house, and kevin, me, and his two brothers and dad went outside with nerf guns that have chalk on the end of the bullets. well, we were out there for about 2 hours, it was really fun, but their dad got the worst of it. you can see the pink and blue spots all over his face and head.
kevin passed his insurance license test! he needed a 75, and got a 91 and a 92 on the two sections. so he did great! he's starting a new insurance job on Monday, and is excited. more details to come on that.
